Technithon International joins IIT Kanpur Research and Technology Park

Technithon International Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based company with specialization in cutting-edge sulf(on)ation processes, surfactants and environmental technologies, joins IIT Kanpur Research and Technology Park (Technopark@iitk) as its esteemed member to engage with IIT Kanpur on R&D collaborations, starting with the Department of Chemical Engineering. The company has clients spread across the globe and boasts of well-equipped fabrication and construction facilities in Silvassa, India.

“The company’s intent is to develop sustainable processes and solutions including liquid phase sulf(on)ation technologies for aliphatic, olefinic and aromatics alkylates and developing surfactants and ultra-concentrated end-product formulations for home and personal care products using renewable and indigenous inputs,” informed Mr. Sanjay Trivedi, Founder and Chairman, Trivedi Groupe of companies. Mr. Trivedi is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur of batch 1975. Technithon International

plans to expand its collaborative work with IITK in near future and has expressed interest in setting up a R&D laboratory and pilot plant facility in the upcoming Technopark@iitk building.

We are also excited about the possibility of establishing their R&D lab and pilot plant facility in the upcoming Technopark facility. The upcoming Technopark building would be a 250,000 sq. ft. facility comprising offices, labs, along with all the modern amenities,” said Prof. Gopal Kamath, Professor-Incharge of Technopark@iitk.
