Laurus Labs Limited is a renowned pharmaceutical and biotechnology company that specializes in manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), formulations, and synthesis for anti-retroviral (ARV), oncology, and Hepatitis C drugs, as well as a wide range of therapeutic solutions. Recently, the company has licensed a gene therapy patent technology developed by Prof. Jayandhran Rao from the Department of BioScience and BioEngineering. As a part of this collaboration, Laurus Labs will set up a pilot-scale cGMP vector production facility in the Technopark Phase-1 facility.
